Citroen Berlingo

This van has lots of headroom,a deep windscreen for good visibility,tall doors and the driver's seat is positioned at the right height to make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle many times a day for the courier and multi-drop driver.It copes with urban driving conditions with ease.

The Berlingo now has the option of sliding doors on either side,making it easier to access the load bay,which has a payload of 600-800 kg,depending on the model,and a load volume of 3 cubic metres.

Fiat Grande Punto Van
A distinctive looking van with corrugated-look panels in place of the rear windows of the Fiat Punto car from which it is derived.The standard package now includes trip computer,ABS brakes,fully adjustable driver's seat,driver's airbag and electro-hydraulic power steering with 'normal' and 'city' levels of assistance.Payload of 510 kg and load volume of 1 cubic metre.

Ford Fiesta Van
Small outside but a reasonably spacious cab with plenty of storage space for front seat occupants.Height adjustable driver's seat,airbags for driver and passenger and remote double central locking are standard.

Loading length 1.32 metres, width .98 of a metre between the wheel boxes,load area 1 cubic metre and a payload of 465-494 kg depending on model.

Nissan Kubistar

Spacious and easy to drive, with excellent fuel economy.Remote central locking,power steering,driver's airbag and radio/cassette are included in the basic E specification and on the SE,electric windows and mirrors,radio/CD,overhead shelf and anti-lock brakes.

Load space of 2.7 cubic metres,loading height 520 mm,payload of 620 kg on the diesel models and 625 kg for petrol models.On the top specification SE models an 800 kg payload is available as an option.

Peugeot Partner

Like its stablemate the Citroen Berlingo, this van has lots of headroom,a deep windscreen for good visibility,tall doors and the driver's seat is positioned at the right height to make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle many times a day.

Standard trim level includes power steering,remote controlled radio cassette,driver's airbag and immobiliser, and on the LX trim level ,heated door mirrors,central locking,load area side lining and an additional power socket.

Access to the load area is via the rear doors,or there is an option for one or two sliding side doors.Load volume is 2.8 cubic metres,with a payload of 600-800 kg depending on the model. Load length of 1.7 metres can be increased by 400 mm for narrow loads by folding over the passenger seat.

Renault Clio

The Renault Clio van is another vehicle with a high standard basic specification and plenty of optional equipment to choose from for driver comfort and convenience.Anti-lock brakes,power steering,remote central locking,electric windows,driver,passenger and lateral airbags are all part of the basic specification.

Load length and height are both 933 mm,payload 535 kg and load volume just under 1 cubic metre.

Vauxhall Astra Van
Although not quite as roomy as the Vauxhall Combo, the Astravan is still one of the more popular car-derived vans on the road.Comfortable to drive and handles well,with adequate storage space and good basic specification ,with various options available as add-ons.

Access to the load space is via the tailgate to an area of 1.7 cubic metres,with a payload of 541-551 kg depending on model.

Vauxhall Combo

The Combo is also based on the Corsa car,but the seat is set to give a higher driving position than the Corsavan.The cab is comfortable with ample storage space and, as with many vans, power steering is standard.

Twin rear doors give access to the loading space,with sliding side doors an optional extra. Load area of 2.8 cubic metres,but opting for swivelling bulkhead and folding passenger seat-similar option to the Renault Kangoo-increases the load space to 3.2 cubic metres. The payload is 595-810 kg depending on model.

Vauxhall Corsa Van

Small, comfortable and economical-and also popular with multi-drop urban operators.

Good basic specification with various optional extras available.Load volume 1.1 cubic metres,maximum load length 1.2 metres and payload of 465 kg.

Volkswagen Caddy

The Caddy is exactly what you would expect from Volkswagen-solid quality of build, good, comfortable seats,plenty of driver storage space,fully adjustable steering wheel and a quiet engine.

Twin rear doors give access to the load area, with the option of one or two sliding side doors. Load area is 3.2 cubic metres and payload 815 kg.
