The central console sits conveniently between the seats. It has a large open storage area to carry small items, three small bottle holders and a portable ashtray. In addition LX and Enterprise models feature a 12V power socket on the passenger side.

First there's the very useful 3m3 volume. Then, thanks to the wide door and the optional sliding side doors, there's the easy access to the expansive inner space (single side loading door is standard on Enterprise models). But the Citroën Berlingo offers further clever ways of increasing its load capacity. With the minimum of effort, the multi-function seat folds to reveal a horizontal worktable.

Then, just one more adjustment, and an extra length of approximately 40cm is revealed and even the lengthiest of objects will fit. In short, when it looks like the space has run out, there's still more to be had.
