The following questions are most frequently asked by our prospective Franchisees:
Q. Do I need previous experience of vehicle sales?
A. No. Vantastic4Vans provides comprehensive initial training for all Franchisees which will enable them to set up and operate their business successfully. The Vantastic4Vans sales concept is refreshingly different and unlike that which you will have experienced elsewhere.
Q. Must I have premises?
A. The business can be readily operated from a home-based office provided that this is properly equipped and free from interruptions. Separate office premises might be more appropriate if, at a later stage, you need to employ staff.
Q. Will I have an exclusive Franchise Territory?
A. Yes, your franchise territory will be exclusive for operation of the Vantastic4Vans business which is based on local contact with customers either by telephone or personal visits. You should however be aware that the Franchisor will continue to operate its original internet-based van sales business on a nationwide basis under the name of AJ (Vehicles) Ltd.
Q. How long is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
A. The Franchise Agreement is initially for a term of five years and is renewable without further payment for a further five year period. Renewal will be on the terms applicable to new franchisees at that time.
Q Can I sell my franchise business?
A. Yes, subject to certain conditions, one of which is that any purchaser must be approved by Vantastic4Vans. A percentage of the sale price must also be paid to Vantastic4Vans to cover the cost of training the new Franchisee and this amount will be specified in your Franchise Agreement.
Q Can I borrow money for the purchase of my franchise?
A. This is dependent upon your individual circumstances. Franchising is very favourably regarded by most of the major banks because of its high success rate and we have submitted details of the Vantastic4Vans opportunity to them.
Q. What franchise territories are currently available?
A. We are seeking franchisees for territories in most areas of the country. Early applicants stand a good chance of being awarded their first choice of territory.
Q. Must I purchase all the vehicles I sell via the Franchisor?
A. Yes, the Franchisor has developed strong business relationships with all the leading suppliers of light commercial vehicles. That means you will benefit from a wide range of makes and models all available for sale, lease or hire on the keenest possible terms.
